Job Summary: Join RailPros as a Rail Design Intern and dive into the dynamic field of rail infrastructure . This internship provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the design and development of rail projects. As a vital team member, you will work alongside experienced professionals, gain hands-on experience with industry-leading CAD software , and play a key role in the success of ongoing projects. Essential Duties&Responsibilities: Assist in Design Development: Contribute to the development and enhancement of rail infrastructure projects by working closely with the rail design team. CAD Modeling and Drafting: Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software (Microstation) to produce accurate and detailed models and drawings. Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data relevant to rail projects to support design and development activities. Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with cross-functional teams , including engineers and project managers. Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure designs meet client standards . Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs. Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills,&Abilities: Proficiency with electronic communication (e-mail, text) and standard office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite). Basic oral and written communication skills . Strong problem-solving and analytical skills . Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment. Required Education and Experience: Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program . No prior experience required .
