Position Overview Position Title: Chief, Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $193,200-$413,200. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation. Position Description The Department of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA invites applications for a nationally recognized academic physician to serve as the Chief of the UCLA Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes&Metabolism . The division is dedicated to advancing scientific knowledge and understanding of diabetes, endocrine, and metabolic disorders. Reporting to the Chair of the Department of Medicine, the division chief works collaboratively to advance the mission of excellence in clinical care, education, research, and community engagement. The ideal candidate is a visionary academic physician with a strong record of accomplishments in research, education, clinical care, and service. Candidates must hold an MD or equivalent, have appropriate academic credentials for a tenured faculty appointment, be board-eligible in endocrinology, and eligible for licensure in California. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: M.D. degree or equivalent. Additional Qualifications: Eligible for licensure in California, board certification in endocrinology, and possess academic credentials for an appropriate appointment in the UCLA faculty series.
