It also may include perfusion services, inpatient and/or outpatient services, and other operating room support functions. It does not include PACU, anesthesia functions, pre op holding, and/or central sterile functions. If your department is operating as a combined department with all surgery services combined, please notify FP&A and we can map it to "Surgical Services Combined Without Anesthesia" to provide you with an appropriate benchmark Responsibilities Assist in preparing the operating room by ensuring all surgical instruments and supplies are sterile and ready for use. Collaborate with surgeons and healthcare team members during procedures, providing necessary support and ensuring patient safety. Monitor patient conditions and vital signs, applying basic life support as needed. Maintain accurate medical records and assist with data collection for patient care documentation. Uphold hospital protocols and standards, particularly in critical care and acute settings.
