Overview We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at a Level II Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care and be knowledgeable in anatomy and medical procedures within an operating room (OR) setting. Specialty: CST/ORT - OR Shift: 5:30 AM to 6:00 PM Duration: 13 weeks with possible extension. Requirements: 2 years of recent experience within speciality. BLS from AHA. Nationally recognised Surgical tech certificate. ACLS from AHA Responsibilities Assist in preparing operating rooms for surgery Set up surgical instruments and equipment Pass instruments to surgeons during surgical procedures Maintain aseptic techniques throughout procedures Collect and analyze data related to patient care Monitor and record vital signs during surgery Retrieve and manage medical records as needed Job Types: Full-time, Travel healthcare, Contract Pay: $1,800.00 - $2,000.00 per week Medical Specialty: Surgery Schedule: 12 hour shift 3x12 Day shift Rotating weekends Experience: recent Surgical tech: 2 years (Required) recent CVOR: 2 years (Required) License/Certification: BLS from AHA (Required) ACLS from AHA (Required) Nationally recognized Surgical tech certificate (Required) Work Location: On the road
