We’re currently seeking a Part-time CCC-Speech-Language Pathologists to evaluate and treat residents and short-term patients at our _Hewitt Rehabilitation and Wellness facility in Hewitt, Texas._ Responsibilities include: · Develop and implement the Speech-Language and/or Swallowing therapy plan of care for facility residents and short-term patients. · Assist as needed with patient screenings for the need for Speech-Language and/or Swallowing Therapy services. · Communicate progress and any barriers toward ST goals with interdisciplinary team members. · Complete timely ST documentation in compliance with regulatory, licensing, and payor requirements. · Assist with maintaining treatment and documentation areas in a safe manner, using good infection prevention methods. · Provide and document patient, family, and caregiver training regarding each ST patient’s specific plan of care and recommendations for follow up. · Perform additional duties as required. Qualifications include: · Master’s degree from an ASHA accredited Speech-Language Pathology program. · Hold an active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from ASHA. · Current Texas license in good standing as a Speech-Language Pathologist. · Meet physical requirements to deliver ST responsibilities. · Experience in a geriatric rehabilitation setting preferred. · Successful completion of hiring process / background check.
