Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cardiovascular conditions. You will work closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment, utilizing advanced technology and techniques to provide high-quality patient care. Contract Details 13 week contract assignment 10 hour day shift - 40hrs/week Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 2 years of experience required Auto offer with the ability for manager interview if necessary AHC has a strict no-tobacco policy and tests for nicotine&cotinine. Do not submit travelers who use any form of nicotine (puffs, vapes, cigarettes, gum, patches, etc). They will be automatically canceled if they fail the drug screen Position : CATH LAB/IR TECH Ratios : 8-12 Caseload Weekend Requirement : Weekend call required - 1 full weekend per month On-call Requirement : Yes, 15 shifts per month. STEMI Call team must respond within 30 mins of activation. 2 hr call back is guaranteed. Block Schedule Accommodation : NO Required Certifications : BLS, ACLS, ARRT MD License Duties Perform diagnostic evaluations and assist in cardiac catheterization procedures. Monitor patients' vital signs and provide telemetry support during procedures. Maintain a sterile environment by adhering to aseptic techniques. Utilize knowledge of physiology and medical terminology to assist in patient assessments. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a Level II Trauma Center setting. Conduct sonography as needed to support diagnostic processes. Document all procedures accurately and maintain patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
