Aged&Disability Support (Community Services&Development) Bethanie is a leading not for profit aged care provider based in Western Australia. For nearly 70 years, we have been empowering ageing Australians to lead their most meaningful lives by recognising ‘old age’ as a positive force in society and giving a voice to those who have seen it all and live to tell the tale. We are currently seeking experienced Care Workers to provide daily support to our residents at Bethanie Fields Aged Care Home located in Eaton. Co-located with a retirement village, Bethanie Fields is a 160 bed facility designed specifically to provide support for people who need 24 hour care, including those with special care needs and dementia. You will support our residents to improve their quality of life by assisting with day to day activities, ensuring their safety and wellbeing is maintained while building positive and professional relationships with residents and team members. These roles are offered on a permanent part time basis working at least three shifts per week across the following: 6am - 1pm 7am - 3pm 3pm - 9pm 10pm - 6am Our Care Workers are an integral part of the care and support we provide to our residents. Applicants with at least twelve months experience in a similar role will be highly regarded. About You Previous experience working in an aged care or hospital environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work well as a team and also independently Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to apply for one) The Role Assess care plans and ensure residents’ needs are met Ensure services (including food, laundry, personal care, domestic and interest) are delivered in a timely and safe manner Deliver personal care tasks (including toileting and showering) with dignity and respect Ensure residents’ rooms and the facility environment is maintained to an appropriate standard To Apply Please click on the link to upload your CV before the closing date.
