Overview: My client is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to drive the growth of their Surety Bonds division. This role involves overseeing the development and execution of top-line expansion strategies for surety bonds, requiring strong market expertise, leadership skills, and a history of fostering business growth while adhering to industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead and direct business development initiatives within the Surety Bonds unit, ensuring alignment with the client's objectives. Develop and implement strategies for market growth and expansion of the surety portfolio. Oversee underwriting procedures, ensuring thorough risk assessments and alignment with industry best practices. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, brokers, and reinsurers. Collaborate with the legal and claims teams to address any bond-related issues or claims. Monitor market trends, regulatory updates, and competitor activities to ensure a competitive edge. Develop and lead a high-performing team, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance management. Qualifications: 5-10 years of experience in surety bond underwriting and business development. Proven track record managing a network of brokers, agents, and business portfolios. Extensive knowledge and experience within the surety bonds industry. Strong sales expertise with exceptional relationship-building skills.
