Role: Full Time: Contract Job Title: Business Analyst / Billing Analyst Job Type: 12 Months; extension and conversion are both possible Location: Houston TX 77002 – Remote (maybe 1-2 days in a month onsite) Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 to 5, or 9 to 6 schedule As a Business Analyst / Billing Analyst, your responsibilities include: Detail-oriented, adaptable, and analytical from a technical perspective Experience with Gas/Power billing is preferred Some experience with Power BI and familiarity with pulling SQL data with existing queries The manager is looking for a BA who is analytical and has some technical skills Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience preferred, but will consider less for very strong candidates. Regulatory considerations require an understanding of the larger picture and the ramifications of actions. Nice-to-have: 60% analytical / 40% technical. Day in the life: Billing data in the Retail Ops group. Excel Skills: Proficiency in Vlookups, Pivots, Delimited, etc. SQL Skills: Comfortable running data and understanding queries, but won’t need to write them. Education: Minimum any Bachelor’s degree; 4-5 years of experience will be considered instead of a degree.
