Facilities Technician serving our Baltimore MTA/Mobility location This position is primarily responsible for the troubleshooting, diagnosis, repair, maintenance, and installation of building systems, utility systems, site work, and furnishings at bus maintenance and operations facilities. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform repairs and maintenance of facility, fixtures, appliances, and equipment. $23.07 / hour wage The schedule is Sunday - Thursday, 3:30 pm – 12:00 am An excellent benefits package including medical, vision, and dental coverage, and a 401(k) savings plan Paid Holidays, vacation,&sick time Opportunities for career advancement nationwide. A great work environment Facilities Maintenance Worker Major Responsibilities Include: HVAC chiller units, rooftop units, etc. Diagnoses, troubleshoots, installs, and repairs electrical and lighting equipment and components. Maintains a very stringent Preventive Maintenance program required by the client. Troubleshoots, installs, and repairs various building and structural systems and site work. Tests and inspects facilities equipment and performs preventive maintenance as required. Facilities Maintenance Worker Job Requirements: Facility maintenance-related certifications, education, and training preferred. 3 years of experience in a facilities maintenance worker position. Possesses a broad base of knowledge, skill, and ability in various maintenance and repair disciplines (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical). Welding and fabrication skills preferred, but not required. Ability to safely operate a variety of motor vehicles. Ability to safely operate a forklift, boom lift, scissor lift, and other motorized equipment. Ability to operate power and hand tools commonly used in maintenance and construction.
