Role Overview: As a Paralegal at O’Brien Law Group, you’ll be an essential part of a high-performing team, providing vital support across a wide range of legal matters. You’ll work closely with attorneys to help ensure our clients receive top-notch service, all while managing and organizing case files, preparing legal documents, and assisting in trial preparation. Fluency in Spanish is a must, as many of our clients are Spanish-speaking. What You’ll Do: · Legal Research&Analysis: Conduct detailed legal research and gather pertinent information to help attorneys strategize for cases. · Draft&Prepare Legal Documents: Assist in drafting pleadings, contracts, discovery responses, and other legal documents. · Organize&Maintain Case Files: Stay ahead of deadlines by ensuring all case files and documents are properly organized and easily accessible. · Court Filings&Trial Preparation: File documents with the court, organize exhibits, and coordinate witness preparation for trial. · Client&Witness Communication: Serve as a point of contact for clients and witnesses, keeping them informed and facilitating communication between all parties involved. · Administrative Support: Handle general administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and answering phone calls. What We’re Looking For: · Fluency in Spanish (both written and spoken) is required. · Previous experience as a paralegal or in a legal administrative role, ideally in litigation. · Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. · Proficiency with document management systems and familiarity with legal software. · Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. · Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
