Job Description Job Description Job description Tasca Automotive Group has an Immediate opening for a delivery driver for our parts department. Duties will include but are not limited to : Make assigned deliveries daily from Cranston. Checking of pre-staged parts for your run against invoices for accuracy every morning when loading the vehicle and addressing any issues before departure Owning your route, ensuring accuracy, and correcting any issues that may develop with customer Converse with customers and provide excellent customer service at stops Pick up returns from customers, fill out the provided return slips, and ensure accuracy of info and coding for returns dept Keeping your vehicle clean of totes, trash and parts at end of work day Reporting any maintenance issues to dispatch Cover other routes as needed due to absence/vacations, etc. Run “911” or hot shot deliveries as needed throughout the day if you return early Provide assistance to the warehouse as needed with picking parts, putting stock away, organizing drivers areas, assembling orders, processing returns, etc Qualified candidates must: Have great attention to detail Have the ability to work in a team environment Have excellent communication skills Possess organizational skills to keep track of paperwork Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs Must be able to pass a background check Be able to drive all “transit van” type vehicles, including a small box or possible small lift gate type truck if needed on limited occasions.
