How will your role help us transform hope into reality? The IS Commercial/Medical Affairs Business Partner will play a pivotal role in bridging Information Systems (IS) and Commercial/ Medical Affairs Functions within our organization. You will be responsible for managing IS projects and operations / support for these business units. You will possess a deep understanding of both the technical and operational aspects of commercial systems, collaborate closely with business users to understand their technology needs. Being a strategic thought partner to our Business, you will develop technology roadmaps while enabling and optimizing processes through the effective use of technology. What will you do? Establish and maintain active partnerships with relevant stakeholders while gaining comprehensive understanding of business areas, the systems utilized, and the flow of data within the organization. Functional areas include Commercial Operations, Medical Affairs, Patient Engagement, Sales and Marketing Ensure efficient project management and stable operations/ support with proactive monitoring for systems that will be supported but not limited to Veeva CRM, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Veeva MedComms Promomats etc. Collaborate with the Business units to proactively identify and address upcoming technology needs, creating and maintaining a technology roadmap to align business and technology strategies. Ensure the documentation, protection, and integrity of data assets and databases through proper backups, redundancy, and security measures. Lead the configuration of software systems to integrate new data sources as required. Monitor the availability of systems, taking proactive steps to identify and address the root causes of common issues. Serve as a liaison between the business functions to ensure alignment of technology initiatives with overall organizational goals What minimum qualifications do we require? Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience in information systems roles 3 years supporting Commercial and Medical Information Systems and Technology within Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology industries. What additional qualifications will make you a stronger candidate? A solid understanding of business principles and operations, particularly within the context of Pharmaceutical Commercial Operations and Medical Affairs. Ability to align technology solutions with strategic business objectives Management and Support experience of Commercial and Medical Affairs Technology systems. e.g. Veeva CRM, Commercial Warehouses, Salesforce, Veeva MedComms and Promomats. Demonstrated leadership qualities, including the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams, drive change, and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams and departments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for collaborating with diverse stakeholders, including Field, Sales, Marketing, and Business leaders Ability to lead and manage technology projects, from identifying needs to implementing solutions.
