Assistant Store Manager (Elmwood Shopping Center) Job Category: STORE LEADERSHIP Requisition Number: ASSIS145833 Posted: November 23, 2024 Full-Time Locations Buckle is seeking experienced and talented individuals who desire to take their skills to the next level. As an Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager, you will work directly with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to develop sales, recruit new Teammates, and provide leadership. You will also share responsibility for training and motivating Teammates and act as the Store Manager in their absence. Essential Duties and Responsibilities This description intends to describe the general nature and level of work performed by Teammates assigned to this job. Sales Generation and Guest Service Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude, and provide legendary service to each Guest. Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise. Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on Guest needs and desires. Anticipate and fulfill Guest’s needs by suggesting additional items. Demonstrate product utilizing product knowledge and sales education. Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices. Achieve personal sales-per-hour and total net sales goals set by Store Management. Provide legendary service throughout the store in key areas. Maintain and build good Guest relationships. Lead by example with a high level of showmanship and excellent customer service. Teammate Recruiting, Training and Development Recognize recruiting opportunities and coach new Teammates. Maintain a positive attitude and create a positive floor culture. Participate effectively in daily setup and training. Motivate Teammates to initiate and complete daily tasks. Assist Store Manager in recruitment of all store staffing needs. Operations Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, and weekends. Understand and utilize planner including completion of Opening and Closing Checklists. Follow all Loss Prevention guidelines. Maintain a clean, organized, and shoppable store. Supervisory and Leadership Supportive of Leadership and promote personal and store growth. Execute daily interviews as needed to support Team Development. Handle all schedule changes in a positive manner. Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related retail experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional Qualifications Relocation may be required. No visa sponsorship is available.
