Job Description Job Description We are looking for an Assistant Property Manager who will assist in managing daily operations of our properties. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring tenant satisfaction, coordinating maintenance and repairs, and assisting in budgeting and financial reporting. You will also be expected to communicate effectively with tenants, vendors, and other team members to ensure smooth operations. Assistant Property Manager duties and responsibilities Assist the Property Manager in managing daily operations of the property Respond to tenant inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner Coordinate and oversee maintenance and repairs of the property Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial reports Assist in the leasing and marketing of available units Perform regular inspections of the property to ensure it is well-maintained and meets safety standards Assist in the enforcement of lease agreements and property rules Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of tenant and property information Assist in the preparation of lease agreements and other legal documents Attend meetings with property owners, vendors, and other stakeholders as needed Assistant Property Manager requirements and qualifications Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent 2 years of experience in property management or related field Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organizational and time-management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Knowledge of property management laws and regulations Experience with budgeting and financial reporting Experience with leasing and marketing Ability to handle tenant complaints and resolve conflicts Experience with property maintenance and repair Experience with vendor management and contract negotiation Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
