(Standard Form 85). Travel: Travel is not authorized. Type of Employment: 40 hours per week. Period of Performance: 08 January 2025 to 31 August 2025 Estimate Pay: $52.00 to $57.00 Working Hours: Work is typically scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m ., Monday through Friday. While the schedule may need to be flexible, it will not exceed 40 hours per week or 650 hours total. The contractor may be occasionally called upon for after-hours as needed. Summary: In this role, Applications Architect 2 requires 4-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Mandatory Qualifications Work experience with Software as a Service (Saas) and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) environments Hands-on experience with Microsoft PowerApps and Power Automate technical solutions Microsoft Power Platform development experience Expert understanding of Dataverse tables and uses, security models and roles Solid experience migrating data to Dataverse from other database sources (Oracle/SQL) Experience with Power Automate Cloud Flows, Desktop Flows, business process Flows, and Process Advisor Highly Desired Qualifications : Good understanding of the Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Admin Center Communication, analytical and interpersonal skills at all levels of an organization Good teamwork skills, and ability to collaborate with other functional and technical staff on the project Experience in Agile development and sprint planning Job Description/Details: Application architects position is part of the Administrative Applications Power Platform Development Team and is responsible for designing, developing and implementing applications for computer systems. Application architects will assist in the development process from conception to completion and oversee the efforts of all associated technical staff. This Applications Architect 2 will be: Responsible for performing advanced Dataverse administration tasks used by applications with complex data models, workflows, and reports. Serve as a Dataverse Developer and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Dataverse solutions. This role involves creating custom entities, fields, and relationships, as well as developing plugins and workflows. Serve as a Data Analyst and focus on analyzing data stored in Dataverse to provide actionable insights. Perform tasks related to Database Administration including managing the Dataverse environment, ensuring data integrity, performance, and security. This role may include tasks like data migration from other data sources (Oracle/SQL), performance tuning, and user management. Serve as a Solution Architect and design comprehensive solutions using Dataverse, integrating it with other Microsoft Power Platform tools and applications. This role requires a deep understanding of Dataverse capabilities and limitations. Serve as a Security Specialist and implement and manage security roles within Dataverse to ensure data protection and compliance. This position is expected to address high demand and may be required to be on-call rotation, as needed, to complete all projects in a timely manner.
