MISSION The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers, guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement, will provide relief to victims of disasters and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies. VOLUNTEER ROLES&RESPONSIBILITIES Aid Communications department to promote Red Cross services and programs, campaigns, and events across the Los Angeles Region. Coverage of news, disasters, community events, red carpet events, corporate headshots, and celebrity galleries. Turn over footage quickly to the Red Cross Communications department for distribution to media and promotion via Red Cross websites and social media. REQUIREMENTS Must have all of your equipment. DSLR camera required. External flash is preferred. Ability to shoot both formally or in a photojournalistic style Should be creative and able to tell a story through photos Professional and friendly demeanor Professional photography experience preferred Must be able to submit samples of your work QUESTIONS?
