This role requires proficiency in various property management software and a solid grasp of Fair Housing regulations. The Housing Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring that our housing operations run smoothly while fostering a positive living environment for all residents. Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of housing facilities, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies. Oversee property leasing activities, including tenant screening, lease agreements, and move-in/move-out processes. Maintain accurate records through data entry and management using software such as CMMS, OneSite, or Yardi. Ensure adherence to Fair Housing regulations and implement best practices in conflict management. Address resident concerns and conflicts promptly and professionally to maintain a harmonious community atmosphere. Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure timely repairs and upkeep of properties. Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure compliance with safety standards and legal requirements. Provide administrative support related to legal matters concerning housing policies and tenant relations. Prepare reports on occupancy rates, maintenance issues, and other relevant metrics for upper management. Qualifications Proven experience in property management or a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with property management software such as CMMS, OneSite, or Yardi is highly desirable. Strong data entry skills with attention to detail. Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and legal administrative processes. Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to resolve disputes effectively. Experience in property leasing processes is an advantage. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficient in office software applications for reporting and documentation purposes. A commitment to providing excellent customer service to residents.
