Provider Opportunity Summary: This is a PRN position for providers to perform Compensation and Pension (C&P) evaluations for Veterans through one of our clients that is a government contractor. Providers may work up to three days per week, performing non-treatment evaluations. No pediatric patients are seen; all adult specialties are accepted. Locations Available (at the time of name clear): Roanoke- must live within 50 miles of facility Marion- must live within 50 miles of facility Details: PRN, ongoing basis. Work options: Travel to a facility to perform exams. Conduct evaluations at your own office. Flexible scheduling: Half-day (4 hours) shifts or full-day (8 hours) shifts available. Non-treatment evaluations: One-time C&P exams and separation health assessments. Primarily interview-based with some physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing. No prescribing or treatment required. Credentialing and onboarding are quick. Training is provided for completing standardized Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs). Specialty Requirements: Family Medicine Internal Medicine Orthopedic Surgery General Medicine or experience with compensation and pension evaluations. Skills and Tools Required: Proficient in: METs testing. Diagnosing/evaluating respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions. Familiarity with musculoskeletal, diabetes, and cardio conditions. Goniometer usage required. Must own a personal laptop (no Apple/Mac products). Submit all reports and follow-ups within 48 hours via the provider portal. Pay Rates: Half-day Rate: $400 flat (4 hours or less, includes report time). Full-day Rate: $720 flat (5 hours or longer, includes report time). Bonus: One-time $650 bonus after completing training and first evaluations.
