You deserve a job you love Volt is immediately hiring for an Accounting Clerk in Carlsbad, Ca. Pay rate $23.00-25.00/hr Performs accounts receivable and accounting functions according to established procedures or as directed by accounting supervisor. As an Accounting Clerk you will: - Invoice saily sales orders - Invoice Drop shipments AP and AR invoices - Receive and process incoming payments, including checks, wire transfers, credit card payments, and electronic payments. - Accurately apply payments to the correct customer accounts in the accounting system. - Identify and resolve payment discrepancies or issues in a timely manner. - Reconcile daily cash receipts and investigate and resolve variances. - Answers accounts receivable phone inquires and follow-ups - Calls and/or mails correspondence to customers as necessary in order to update accounts - Monitor collections and contact and follow up with customers if needed to collect payment - Assists the Accounting Supervisor This is a full time opportunity The ideal candidate will have: - Previous Accounting experience - Strong administrative, communications, and customer skills are essential - Requires tact and courtesy in dealing with individuals both inside and outside - Math capacity, attention to detail, and ability to organize and handle multiple activities - High school diploma - Must be able to work on routine assignments with knowledge and good judgment Pay rate $23.00-25.00/hr Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration Please hit APPLY to provide the required information, and we will be back in touch as soon as possible.
