The Account Manager is accountable for relationship management, renewal processes, and negotiations of both rate and services to achieve final rating and plan decisions. In addition, the Account Manager must deliver seamless and high-quality service, resolution, and communication of account and service issues. The Account Manager will spend approximately 60% of their time out of the office, negotiating contract parameters while building and maintaining relationships with assigned broker and group market. The territory may include the entire state of Oklahoma, and travel obligations may increase from October to December. QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent Excellent written and oral communications skills which includes public speaking and presentations. A minimum of two (2) years of Customer Service experience required A minimum of one (1) year of experience in insurance, benefit administration, or broker services. Ability to operate PC and type 30 WPM. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task while working with minimal supervision. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel. Valid Drivers license and excellent driving record required; must be willing to travel and remain away from home overnight when necessary. Oklahoma Accident and Health Producer License or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment. Must maintain insurance license once received.
