JOB TITLE: Account Director REPORTS TO: VP, Strategic Accounts DEPARTMENT: Commercial LOCATION: U.S. Remote SALARY RANGE: $140,000 Role and Responsibilities The Prometric Account Director should possess outstanding technology sales experience, honed customer service skills, and a passion for providing innovative business solutions in a variety of settings and inceptions. We value individuals for this role who can both “farm” and “hunt” - who are passionate about growing our existing accounts while identifying roadblocks and obstacles to increasing business with new logos in the tech sector. The ideal fit will be innovative enough to diagnose and suggest tailored solutions to common client problems. Dedication to developing long-term relationships and facilitating smoother connections between our clients and our internal executives is a must. Manage and grow relationships to drive expansion and renewals across all solutions within assigned technology specific accounts Hunt new relationships, identify market opportunities and bring them to close Generate demand by assisting clients to identify current needs, and then effectively articulate how Prometric can add value through our services and solutions Collaborate with Implementation Managers, Overlay Specialists, CSMs and other internal resources Minimize churn and maximize retention in assigned accounts Drive client satisfaction throughout the entire lifecycle of the clients’ buying process, by taking ownership for the renewal agreement for each client Use Prometric’s sales tools and methodology to effectively manage accounts, opportunities, pipelines and forecast Build trust and long-term relationships by developing client advocates and coaches who support Prometric. Professional Qualifications BA/BS Degree from a four-year college or university and 10 years of professional experience in account management / client services with a proven track record expanding client relationships Proven connections within technology companies that can be leveraged for new sales relationships Ability to identify and advance new revenue streams for assigned client portfolio Technology-Specific Client Management; improving client relationships to drive sales growth through building trust and manage client expectations and needs Ability to link Prometric service offerings to clients current and future needs as well as differentiate from competition Experience managing internal SMEs for positive outcomes Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to succinctly articulate business progress, issues, challenges and resolutions.
